Why is does sex appeal make the world go round?!?

there are so many businesses and companys that use sex appeal to get people running to them. has anyone seen the new evony's ads??

one ad only has a photo of some ladys ****....

its so sad to think that the world is this way.

starting just around 12 am, every other channel has some commercial for naked chiks.

i feel like this society is based on sex appeal and sexual themes.

its frustratingt o me because know i dont even want kids knowing that the world runs this way. do you companys seriouslly think your gunna grab people in by putting some girl with fake **** on your ads?

maybe it will work for some desperates... but deffinatly not me. for some reason i feel offended..

its just disguisting.

so tell me, who else has notcied this, and do you feel something should be changed??? ( even though we all know it never will! ) sighhh.

well it's because that's attractinve, of course they'e going to have some hot chick or hot guy in their ads. i'd rather look at attractive people than ugly people dressed in baggy clothes, nobody would pay attention to that! i'd rather buy perfume with the ad being a half naked hot guy near a hot girl instead of some grandma looking girl! i don't know, that's just me i honestly don't see anything wrong with it. it's not like i'm being influenced by it.

The world doesn't, but pop culture does. You're looking in the wrong place for inspiration if you're looking at pop culture. It's very easy to live a life removed from such things by reducing tv exposure, reading more books or journals and magazines like the New Yorker. Get out and do things other shop - that's what they want you to do...

As far as the selling aspect of it all, that kind of marketing works so companies will do it. Keep in mind companies are big machines that look at a few things, such as profit - most of them don't have someone who stops to say %26quot;yeah we can sell more with racy ads but that's not the type of brand/product/company we want to be%26quot;... so, we're stuck with the capitalism we have...
