Normally, I tell people to click the 露 button on their toolbar, but yours isn't visible, so try pressing CTRL/SHIFT/8 (on the top row of the keyboard).

On your tool bar you should have a small icon that looks like a filled in P. If it's not visible, then click on the drop down %26quot;extra icons%26quot; (down arrow) button on the end of the toolbar(s).
Click on this and all the formatting characters will vanish.
The other people told you how to fix this, but you should also know that those are just the characters showing you where spaces are, where you have paragraph breaks and so on. They will not affect how the document prints, they are only visible on screen and are not actually part of the text. Some people like to work with those marks showing so they can more easily see if they have proper paragraph breaks, single spaces between words and so on, but others find it distracting.
