I am looking for your personal favorite or what you know to be the most famous photographs ever taken. Please list or describe them. I found many links that talk about time magazines top 100 photos that changed the world but when i go to those links there are only about 12 to 25. I am making a collage and need a great list. For example the man in fron of the tank in tienneman square, or the burning monk, or the falling man or john john at jfk%26#039;s funeral. Please help me out.|||I%26#039;d say (in no particular order)
1) jack ruby shooting oswald
2) moon shot of astronaut and american flag
3) kent state girl screaming with arms open
4) landscape of Hiroshima after the bomb OR the little girl running naked and burned down the street
5) first shot of the earth from space (the blue marble shot)
6) MLK assasination shot - people pointing to direction of shooter
7) vietnam war - the prisoner with the gun to his head
8) first shot of developing fetus / embryo in the womb
9) john lennon and yoko ono in that naked fetal position shot
10) the space shot from one of the apollo missions with that huge o-ring piece of rocket being jettisoned off and falling towards earth
11) any pic of a jet breaking the sound barrier - with that cloud around the plane - or alternatively, that high speed shot of an apple being shot by a bullet
12) h-bomb mushroom cloud at bikini atoll
13) the sailer kissing the girl at the end of wwII in new york
14) nixon with his arms up doing the peace sign
15) flag raising at Iwo Jima
16 - and lastly, just a personal favorite. The little boy with the split lip on the cover of the U2 album %26quot;Boy%26quot;. Just an amazing pic - I sometimes wonder what the story of that shot was and where that kid is today.

But you will get so many choices that it will still be your selection from the hundreds submitted so why not just go ahead yourself, not depend on others selections.
